Project Management Overview (Three-Day)

This three-day course provides a comprehensive introduction to modern project management by following a case study from project initiation to completion.  The case study provides attendees the opportunity to practice using key project management best practices, including a project charter, stakeholder analysis, work breakdown structure, schedule, risk management plan and communications plan. The course also covers business case fundamentals, project selection and success criteria for the product and the project.  Advanced topics covered in this course include the use of earned-value analysis and quantitative risk analysis techniques.  Important project management concepts will be emphasized using a jeopardy game for the final course revew.
