UHCL is a dynamic learning community offering a vast array of programs, opportunities, and services geared toward helping individuals and families achieve their educational, professional, and personal goals.
The PMCentersUSA - UHCL Master’s Certificate in Project Management program is designed around the standards reflected in PMI’s latest edition of A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) to meet the needs of practicing and potential project managers. This program provides a broad and practical curriculum that builds confidence and skills necessary to tackle the challenges of directing projects in a broad range of work environments. This focused program is taught by skilled Project Management practitioners, many of whom are leaders in their field.
The University of Houston – Clear Lake offers three tracks toward professional development in project management including:
Project Management
The Master’s Certificate Track consists of six focused courses in project management. When our program is completed, students receive a Master’s Certificate from the University of Houston – Clear Lake, which designates that they have been successful in their study of project management at this level.
The PMP® Certification Track offers these same six courses, but adds a seventh course into our program, PMP® Examination Preparation, presented for those seeking to take PMI’s PMP® certification exam. This course reviews all materials presented in the program through a series of sample exams and instructor explanations of correct answers.
New Offering:
As an accelerated alternative, the 5-Day Project Manager Training allows individuals seeking project management training a faster rate of knowledge transfer, as well as enough credits to sit for the PMP® Examination.
