Our History

- 2006 Notre Dame joins PMCentersUSA to continue in its goal toward excellence in education.
- 2006 PMCentersUSA separates from parent company ConsultUSA, keeping a close affiliation and working relationship with them.
- 2006 As the company has been expanding nationally the Pittsburgh Project Management Center(PPMC) found a more suitable name in PMCentersUSA, reflecting this national development.
- 2005 University of Houston – Clear Lake, Belmont University, and the University of South Carolina join the ranks of PMCentersUSA affiliates.
- 2004 PMCentersUSA’s executive director, Walter Bowman, recognized by the Project Management Institute (PMI), in 2004, with the PMI Fellow Award for significant contributions to PMI and the project management profession.
- 2004 Drexel University joins with PMCentersUSA, adding to their commitment to high-quality education within the area of professional training.
- 2000 PMCentersUSA starts offering classes nationally through the Katz School of Business.
- 1998 University of Pittsburgh’s Katz School of Business joins PMCentersUSA as its first university affiliate.
- 1997 Creation and offering of PMI aligned project management training Masters Certificate courseware.
- 1997 Walter Bowman and Mark Balish create the Pittsburgh Project Management Center, with a strategic focus on creating competitive advantage through project focused, information enabled organizations.
