Project Management Training
PMCentersUSA and universities from around the nation have teamed up to jointly deliver a comprehensive series of project management courses leading to a *Master’s Certificate in Project Management. The university-level Master’s Certificate program is aligned with the Project Management Institute’s A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) and provides a broad and practical curriculum that builds the skills necessary to tackle the challenges of directing projects in a broad range of work environments. This focused program is taught by skilled project management practitioners, many of whom are leaders in their field.
For your convenience, PMCentersUSA has developed tracks of classes to handle your specific project management training needs. These include:
- The Master’s Certificate Track consists of 6 focused courses in project management delivered in 2-day segments and spread out over a 4 month period. When the 12 day program is completed, students receive a Master’s Certificate from the accredited university, which designates that they have been successful in their study of project management at this level.
- The PMP Track offers the same 6 courses in the Master's Certificate Track, but adds a 7th course in our program, PMP Examination Preparation, presented for those seeking to take PMI’s PMP® certification exam. This 2-day course thoroughly reviews all materials presented in the program through a series of sample exams and instructor explanations of correct answers.
- The most comprehensive track, the Advanced Track includes the 6 core Master’s Certificate classes, the PMP Examination Preparation course, and 3 advanced-level project management sessions including: IT Project Management, Managing Multiple Projects, and Turning Around Problem Projects. The Advanced classes are two days in duration spread out over several months, and require that participants are knowledgeable in the project management principles and techniques covered in the Master’s Certificate in Project Management Program.
- The 5-Day Accelerated Track (Notre Dame only*) is a consecutive 5-Day program that is designed around the six domains of competent performance in project management identified by the Project Management Institute as Project Initiating, Planning, Executing, Controlling, Closing, and Professional Responsibility. This course is accelerated and provides a condensed curriculum which awards students with a Certificate of Completion and the minimum number of PMI PDU requirements to qualify to take the PMP Examination.
Any track classes can be customized and delivered on-site for our private training.
