About course

The Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification is recognized as a measure of competency for project management. This 24-hour course will show you how to successfully implement the principles and best practices of project management in your project environment, while preparing for the Project Management Institute (PMI)® PMP® certification. This 3-day PMP® Exam Preparation course emphasizes all process groups and knowledge areas from A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) Sixth Edition, along with important interpersonal skills needed by effective project managers, such as leadership and communication. The comprehensive course is structured around the ten knowledge areas of project management and covers the five process groups, and 49 project management processes. At the end of each knowledge area review are practice exam questions, resulting in 200 overall practice questions. The student manual also includes another 200-question practice exam, for attendees use after class to test their readiness for the certification exam. The course manual also includes the rationale behind both correct and incorrect answers for each practice question. Successfully completing this course will provide attendees with the knowledge and techniques needed to obtain PMP® certification, along with best practices for use on projects.
